"In March of 2008 we experienced a devastating grease fire in our home. The fire department deemed the structure uninhabitable. We were displaced for four months while demolition and repairs were made. Time was of the essence! It was stressful and full of unexpected challenges. Making the decision to contract with Stonewater Building was the best decision that we made; I wish we had known about them sooner! Brandon was able to handle the replacement of our kitchen and bathroom cabinetry, our solid surface counter tops, and flooring. While the work was underway, we were so pleased with their quality and work ethic that we added some additional changes to the order. Surprisingly, in contrast to many construction projects, our renovation came in on time and on budget!
Brandon Carter and Andy Holcomb are two of the most honest and reliable individuals we have encountered. We felt 100% comfortable leaving them with charge of our home in our absence.

"We purchased a French Villa in Landfall in 2006. We knew that when we moved into our new ‘old’ home full time, that things needed some renovation…bathroom, kitchen and dining/living room.

"When it was time to renovate my sister's 50 year old classic beach cottage on the oceanfront at Emerald Isle we chose Stonewater Building. From our first meeting with Brandon Carter, we appreciated that he understood how important it was to us to preserve the character of this vintage beach home but with the upgrades our vacation rental families expect today. Brandon was a pleasure to deal with every step of the way. Meticulously, he peeled back the layers of decades of old flooring and made all the necessary repairs. The beautiful knotty pine walls and cabinets have never looked better. Brandon was able to find similar materials to enhance our project from a previous salvage job in New Hanover county.
